There may be taxis available on Main Street right in front of bars and restaurants. Recent city changes with the Huntington Beach parking meters, allows taxis to park for free during certain hours. The "taxicab friendly" transition for the City has allowed more cabs to be on the streets and available to prevent drunk driving and altercations that may happen due to persons loitering after hours.
